Intermittent Title Searcher/Examiner

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for examining titles ranging in complexity to determine status of title or establish chain of title.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.       Abstract and analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations, and other applicable instruments.

2.      Verify vesting and encumbrances to title.

3.        Prepare commitments and title reports.

4.        Review of files that may be too complicated to be completed by other departments.

5.        Provide service to Red Vision customers.

6.        Aid other departments with their workload if time permits.

7.        Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of title examining and abstracting experience in a high volume environment.
